This is story about 3 naughty turtle kids. They liked to play in the river which ended at a very swift and high waterfall. They had a friend, an old squirrel, he had often reminded the children, “Hey, do not play there, it’s dangerous!”. But the children did not obey, they continued to swim and played in the river.

One day while they were busy playing, suddenly came flooding. River flooded and so the current rushed over swiftly. They could not pull over, they shouted, “Help..help!”. Uncle squirrel panicked, but he could not swim, he could not help, so he ran to find mommy turtles.

Meanwhile the children pushed to the edge of the waterfall and finally plunged from the very top..byurr .. falling down. And because the current was very strong, so they continued to drift away.

Not far away there was a fisherman who was throwing nets. He wanted to catch fish. Suddenly his nets drooped. He lifted the net. He was very surprised, because it turned out the net was containing 3 small turtles. How nice, he could have a lot of money selling them in the market.

Fortunately, mommy turtle who was looking for her children saw them and came rushing over, and then she asked to the fisherman to release her children. The fisherman refused. “Oh, well I’ve got to get the money for my family”, he said. The mommy cried, and said that she was willing to do anything to have her children released.

So then the fishermen agreed, as long as the mommy turtle helped him find fishes to sell. The three children were released and went home along with uncle squirrel. Their mother told them to wait at home.

Overnight mommy turtles did not come home, also not returned home the next day.. and the next day .. The children were very anxious. Finally, on the third day their mother appeared, limping and her body so very thin. She looked extremely tired. It turned out the fisherman told her to work very hard to collect the fish as a redeem for her children’s freedom.

Children turtles were very sorry …

The lessons:

Listen to the advice of parents, older people, think too..is it correct or not, if you think it is correct then better you should obey, because older people are usually more experienced, so they may known better, had been through the experience themselves perhaps. If we follow their counsel, we will not fall into a bad experience our self.
Regrets came later, as a result of their delinquency, the mother had to suffer the consequences. Sometimes we are doing wrong, but other people who have to make it up. Do not let happen okay ..

Once upon a time, there is a small dragon. Her name is Bold. She has a broken wing on the left side. It happened because she fell when she soared through a narrow cliff when her mother told her to stay away from it.

Now, when she was getting older she waits and waits, and waits but the wing has never getting better anymore, it stays broken. She can not accept it. She hated it so much. It makes her ashamed too.. That is why she seldom plays with her friend, she envied everyone, she seldom smile and soon she had no friend at all..

One day in the morning, his mother said, “Bold why don’t you come out and fetch me some meat for dinner?”. Bold said yes, then he flew slowly, because he can not fly faster anyway. Through the trees and avoiding the cliffs he flew, alone.

Then she heard screaming from the mountain top, it was so loud. Bold quickly flew up and saw Dewy, the smallest and quite naughty dragon was hanging up side down from the top cliff. It looks like his feet was wedged under a big boulder.

It was a very precarious situation. No one dare to help, they are afraid if they pull Dewy, the boulder will come crushing down and hit their wings. Dewy screamed again and crying.. he is so afraid.

Bold do not befriended Dewy, remember..she has no friend all this time… but she also do not want him getting hurt. So she was getting angry and more when all the people dragon was so passive and not doing anything to help. So Bold flew forward and up to the boulder, studying it closely and then yells loudly, “Hey everyone listen! I can help but I can not do it alone! I can not guarantee it can succeed or even that you won’t get hurt. But if we do this together, the bigger the chance that everyone including you, can survive safely.” Everyone stared at him, but Bold holds her ground. Her feet felt like jelly and shaking, but she hoped for the best, and prayed to God to give her strength to accept if anyone sneered at her speech.

After some time, a bigger dragon said yes, and another, and another, and soon every dragon has moved forward to help. Bold commanded them, some to hold the heavy boulder, some to pull Dewy feet. She shouted loud and clear so everyone can hear her every word.

The boulder cracked, and with loud cheers Dewy feet was freed. The boulder stayed in their strong hold, and released when every dragon safely out of harm way.

Everyone wants to hug Dewy, they jostled Bold aside so she slowly move back and Bold felt left behind in their happy excitement. But before she flew away, someone called her and so everyone turned back and begin to smile to her, “There Bold, thank you for being brave enough to take the lead. Thank you because you care”.

Bold was so happy, her heart burst with pride and joy. Later on, she plays with friends, flew slow but steady, laughed and cracked jokes and when need be she can also lead her friend again.

What is the lesson from this story ?

One, on some occasion, especially if you want to be a Leader, you need to be bold, be brave even when your feet shaking, your hearth drumming, and your stomach felt like you are getting sick. When it happened, all you have to do is pray and do your best. It will be all right, the result is not so important as long as you have done it the right way.

Second, when you get problems, i meant any problem..study it closely first. Do not rush to act because sometime the solution is easy but you can not see it if you did not think it through..

Third, nobody is perfect. No one has everything, and everyone has something more then anyone else. It is fact, so you should not felt envy or jealous to your friend, sister, or brother. Do what you can with what you have. Be kind to others, be helpful, it will get you friends and happiness. Like Bold, even without a perfect wings, it just need a perfect intention.
